It all began in 1995 when Internet wasn’t established in Hemofarm. Emil Joanović was part of PC group who worked with computers (386 and 486) and provided customer support and Windows (3.1) support. First servers were Hemoserver and Aopserver.

As systems became more complex, work was rearranged: Emil continued working on IT infrastructure and virtualization and customer support became Service desk. During the SAP implementation, he was part of SAP BASIS team because of his professional knowledge about servers, network architecture and protocols. For the same reasons he took part setting up IT infrastructure in first professional Regional Television, TV Banat and first Internet Café in Vršac and other projects lead by Hemofarm.

Emil is recognized as high quality expert for IT infrastructure, servers, storage and virtualization processes. Coworkers describe him as proactive, persistent, little bit stubborn, but confident.

As he runs marathon in work, he loves running as hobby as well. Emil ran 10 marathons and even more half-marathons as part of Hemofarm's athletics representation team. Special place takes one successfully finished Olympics distance in triathlon. Also he rode his bike through Transfagarasan road and passed Carpathian Mountains near Moldoveanu peak, summit of Romania. On top of all, he is voluntary blood donator.
